dark souls1 remaster crashes when clicking on 'what wrties to this address'?

hello I'm currently learning cheat engine and I'm trying to use 'what writes to this address' but the game crashes. I googled and tried different debuggers and it did no help. However other games don't crash when using 'what writes to this address'. Am I the only one who get the crashes when playing Dark Souls? What might be the problem? I play dark souls remastered on steam
